Date Night: Products For Getting Some

Pinky and the Ladies of Hot Ink

Via Clockwork Hare

I'm not totally sure what a date night is, but I think it is when you get dressed up and go somewhere with a significant other. Maybe dinner, drinks, a movie or a play? I don't know. I think I had a date night last year...I think.

Anyway, most people get these date nights and we want to make sure that you look your absolute best. This way you can get some if you want it or look so good that you can ditch a crappy date for someone better. WIN-WIN!

Now, these will all be makeup and makeup tips. We'll give you another list with grooming tips, like brows, legs, AHEM areas, and such, another time. For now, enjoy these Hot Ink approved cosmetics!

Your first step in makeup is a good primer. May we suggest Arbonne Makeup Primer? " It only takes a little and it feels like smoothing angel tears on your skin."

Then you'll need some eyelid primer. An inexpensive but excellent choice is e.l.f. Essentials Eyelid Primer. "No creasing, no smudging, no fading. Just perfection."

We'll move on to foundation. If you have red skin, try Clinique Redness Solutions Foundation. "I give Clinique Redness Solutions foundation 8/8 tentacles because I would cheerfully pay twice as much for something that works this well."

Maybe your skin isn't red, but a bit dry. You should go with Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation. "I was also immediately impressed by the feather-light feel of this foundation, and the excellent coverage it provides despite the weightlessness."

If your skin is oily yet flaky and weird, try Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse. "The foundation is really light and a person could forget they were wearing any at all."

For your brows, give Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil and Special Eyes Precision Eye Liner Pencil for your eyes. Hide dark circles with Pixi Eye Bright Kit or Maybelline Instant Age Rewind.

Then you are ready for some color. Vee suggests the Lorac Red Carpet Reveal Eye and Cheek Palette. "Colors are silky, great pigmentation and flattering for a lot of skin tones." For mascara try e.l.f. Mineral Infused MascaraRevlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition Mascara, or Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluptuous. Curl those lashes with the e.l.f. Essentials Mechanical Eyelash Curler

You can use the universally flattering Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick to finish your look and you are out the door. Be sure to let us know how it all went!
