Date Night: Products For Getting Some

Pinky and the Ladies of Hot Ink

Via Clockwork Hare

I'm not totally sure what a date night is, but I think it is when you get dressed up and go somewhere with a significant other. Maybe dinner, drinks, a movie or a play? I don't know. I think I had a date night last year...I think.

Anyway, most people get these date nights and we want to make sure that you look your absolute best. This way you can get some if you want it or look so good that you can ditch a crappy date for someone better. WIN-WIN!

Now, these will all be makeup and makeup tips. We'll give you another list with grooming tips, like brows, legs, AHEM areas, and such, another time. For now, enjoy these Hot Ink approved cosmetics!

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen

Author: Cindy

While I've never been a big make-up girl, once in a while I like to fancy it up and put on a little eyeliner, mascara and even (about twice a year) lipstick. I'm also a person who really reads reviews or tests before trying most products--make-up can be so expensive. But there are certain products that one finds to be worth a little extra money and for me, a good eyeliner that doesn't bother my sensitive eyes or end up all over my face, is one of those things.

I've tried Pixi (found at Target) before and I often find myself stopping by the display to admire the soft colors and sparkles. I realized that I haven't worn any eyeliner in a long time because it always seems to irritate my eyes. However, Pixi prides itself on using botanicals and the display has plenty of tester products, so I knew I could get an idea of whether or not I would like the liners. There was one type of eyeliner that had a pencil end and a smudge end, but I'm not really a smudger, so I skipped testing that one. I picked up one of the Silky Eye Pens and applied it to the back of my hand--it did indeed glide on smoothly.

Look Alive, Ladies - Pixi Eye Bright Kit

Author: Kolby

Did you get your beauty sleep last night? Or, like me, have you forgotten what it's like to wake up feeling rested, and actually looking rested is no longer an option? If you answered yes to the first question, well, that's just great for you, isn't it? Here, have a lollipop and get the hell out of my sight. For the rest of you, yes YOU, with the dark circles and sleepy eyes, I've found a lovely - nay, miraculous - little treasure. Let me introduce to you the Pixi Eye Bright Kit ($24.99 - Target, duh), an "on-the-go perfecting palette with two concealers, one brightener and one highlighter to make eyes look brighter and more awake." And, here's the thing, it really does what it promises, which is, like, crazy, right?
