Sometimes Creepy Is Good, Right? RIGHT?

Park

The world is full of wonderful, exciting and fascinating things.  It's also full of weird, creepy things that will HAUNT YOUR DREAMS.

Strap in because I'm about to show you some of the best of both categories.  Oh, also, if you want some deco that will guarantee you will never have to host a holiday party again, I've got you covered (you're welcome)

Nature is pretty amazing, right?  The majestic oak the powerful waterfall, the OH GOD WHAT IS THAT? (Listverse)

Don't worry, nature isn't all bad.  Sometimes it's badass.  "Badass?" You say. Oh yes, I said badass.  How badass? How about dog's driving cars level badass?(Tastefully Offensive)

Sandy Won't Ruin MY Halloween

Pinky McLadybits

Let's begin with some Halloween-themed cake masterpieces. (Cake Wrecks)

These ladies win Halloween. Just, don't even bother with your witty women binders or whatever. HOCUS POCUS, BITCHES! (via Reddit)

Here's a lovely essay about a woman seeking to connect with her late father by attending the Fuller show on "Progress" and possible disaster aversion. (Harpers)

Always remember: batteries and...something about a bathtub? (The Onion)

Whatever Happened To Pinup Halloween Photos?

Pinky McLadybits

Oh, Courtney. How I love you and your takes on the sometimes odious and always over the top shenanigans of celebrities. This time Courtney takes on Timberlake and Biel's wedding. (Pajiba)

Moving from dickbags to amazing DIYers, here is a tutorial on how to create some sweet dragon wings for Halloween. If you have the time, I highly recommend looking through Jen's other tutorials. (Epbot)

Australia has so many strange creatures that I'm gobsmacked that they don't have actual winged dragons as well. (WOOOO SEGUE WAY!) Check out this baby echidna puggle. And yes, I thought it was a puppy of some kind before I clicked through...(Tastefully Offensive)

This site is equal parts guilty pleasure and just guilt. It's a live fashion blog in that it shows you photos of people walking down the street in Williamsburg. Then you rate the style of the people walking by. It's guilty pleasure because I love people watching. It's guilt because most of the people probably don't know they're being judged by quite so many people. (Styleblaster)

I Like the Way You Work It, No Diggity

MelBivDevoe

Apologies if the links seem a little harried this morning, but I'm running on little sleep.  Hopefully none of the write-ups are nonsensical or purple monkey dishwasher.

If you like overpriced, creepy doll "art," then have I got the link for you!  (BuzzFeed)

Around our house, we have several homemade cat trees and beds to keep our kitties occupied.  I think this needs to be our next DIY project (ha, as if we could pull this off!).  (io9)

First, there was the Binders Full of Women tumblr.  Now, the internet has blessed us with amazing Amazon reviews for said binders.  Never change, internet.  (Pleated Jeans)

Looks like Elizabeth Bathory was on to something, after all - the secret to eternal youth may be in the blood of the young!  But, uh, I do not condone that you go out and bathe in the stuff or drink it or anything.  I'm just stating that for the official record.  (Gawker)

It's Hump Day, Time to Shake Your Rump!

MelBivDevoe

Good morning!  Had your morning coffee yet?  It wasn't civet coffee, was it?  If you've not heard of civet coffee, it's very expensive, somewhat rare, supposedly delicious, and, uh, made from cat excrement.  No thanks.  (NPR)

Hey you!  Do you like dancing, video games, and winning things?  Then click here!  (Crushable)

Last week, a man posted a super sarcastic review on the Facebook page of a maxi pad company.  Now, the company, Bodyform, responds with a snarky video that's an excellent example of how to capitalize on a viral moment. (Mashable)

I love the idea behind this article, "If TV Shows Were Relationships."  Like, The Vampire Diaries would be that crazy roller coaster ride of a relationship where you're happy, then you're at each other's throats, then you're crying and making up - all in the span of about five minutes.  (College Humor)

I Ate Too Much Yummy Over The Long Weekend

Pinky McLadybits

I can definitely see how these things can stress people out. I've been completely crazed about my stupid smartphone because it is actually a SHITEPHONE. (Cracked)

I would like to invite you to use some salt I made from the tears of my enemies. Well, I will pretend that they were my enemies. (Newslite)

Are you some kind of asshole with lots of money to waste? Maybe you would like to purchase paint for your car that has real diamonds in it! And then lend me about $50,000. OKTHXBAI. (OhGizmo!)

10 Most Ridiculous Christmas Decorations Ever

Metric Jenn

We've all seen them: Christmas decorations, ornaments, sweaters, odds and bobs that are so ugly, misplaced, or ill-conceived that you just shake your head in amazement, snap a picture on your cellphone, and then laugh hysterically with your friends about them later. Well, I scoured the internet to bring you some of my very favourite ridiculous Christmas decorations; and as an added treat, I included bonus pictures from my time spent in Seoul, South Korea. The land where Christmas and cheesy advertisements collided to create an unholy union between Santa and Jesus, which in turn created candy cane nightmares.
