It's Hump Day, Time to Shake Your Rump!

MelBivDevoe

Good morning!  Had your morning coffee yet?  It wasn't civet coffee, was it?  If you've not heard of civet coffee, it's very expensive, somewhat rare, supposedly delicious, and, uh, made from cat excrement.  No thanks.  (NPR)

Hey you!  Do you like dancing, video games, and winning things?  Then click here!  (Crushable)

Last week, a man posted a super sarcastic review on the Facebook page of a maxi pad company.  Now, the company, Bodyform, responds with a snarky video that's an excellent example of how to capitalize on a viral moment. (Mashable)

I love the idea behind this article, "If TV Shows Were Relationships."  Like, The Vampire Diaries would be that crazy roller coaster ride of a relationship where you're happy, then you're at each other's throats, then you're crying and making up - all in the span of about five minutes.  (College Humor)

Retro Love + Internet = Good Idea or The Best Idea Ever?

                            Park

In case you were wondering, the answer is "The Best Idea".  Partly because woot, woot, it's silly and fun, and partly because politics makes me need the distraction.

"Why it can't be that bad" you say. "It's not like women are being told publicly to get back in the kitchen, right?"  Well, you're right.  It's not that, it's that and much more.  Much, much depressingly more (Angry Black Lady)

Hey, I'm not above a little retail therapy (especially after reading the above).  Shana logic has a ton of adorable stuff AND that stuff is on sale.  I don’t want to say a must look, but…okay, of course I want to say a must look.  Its delightful (Shana Logic)

Ever wanted to know what a Mean Girls and Downtown Abbey mashup would look like?  Well I bet you do now...and here it is. (Fanpop)

Don't Wake Me Up If I'm Dreaming...

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Stop sleeping at work and get ready for links!

One of our sisters over at Persephone Magazine has a great op ed on how you're never too old to conquer your dreams.  It's a pretty inspiring read.  (Persephone Mag)

Speaking of inspirational, this photo spread of "Bodies We Want" might have you recommitting to your fitness goals.  Or, it might just send you to your bunk.  NSFW for some tasteful nudity.  (ESPN Mag)
