It's Just Another Cyber Monday

MelBivDevoe

I see nothing wrong with his ranking order.

Good morning!  Did you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, stuffing yourselves silly and then napping the day away?  I'm currently writing this from my cushy seat by the fireplace, hot cocoa in hand, and I hope you all had a great holiday.  But now, back to the grind, and back to the links!

Today is Cyber Monday.  Are you taking advantage of all the deals?  Go here for a round-up of what stores are offering today, or go here for a more comprehensive list AND info about who is offering free shipping!

While you're getting your holiday shopping done, would you like to fight cancer, as well?  Of course you would!  Follow this link to learn how your Amazon purchases can help defeat cancer.  F*ck cancer!  (CBR4)

I wouldn't recommend buying any of these Anthropologie items for anyone on your list, unless they share your wicked sense of humor.  (Jezebel)

Once you've made your purchases, why not wrap them in one of these cute, useful DIY styles?  (BuzzFeed)

One of the highlights of every Thanksgiving is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Check out this retrospective, featuring some gorgeous photos and videos of old balloons and floats.  (Laughing Squid)

Would you wear a dress made of money?  As someone who has worked in several financial institutions, I'd be tempted to take a Silkwood shower after wearing something like this.  Money be FILTHY dirty, y'all.  (The Gloss)

Sending your campaign staffers bad checks?  Classy.  Sending them bad checks with condoms and the message "You're Screwed"?  Super klassy, with a k.  (BoingBoing

Remember making paper snowflakes in elementary school art class?  These Star Wars snowflakes are a little bit more complicated than the ones I used to make.  (Geeks Are Sexy)

It's a sign that my palate is maturing that I read most of the suggestions on this list and thought "Horf."  What happened to junk-food-loving Mel Biv??  (AV Club)

This article about bad baby-rearing advice from the last few centuries shows that we've come a long way in parenting.  Can you imagine trying to teach a 2 day old infant to eat solid food??  (Slate)

Happy holidays from Jimmy Fallon, Rashida Jones, and the Roots!
