Seacret Nail Care Collection: A Little for A Lot

Metric Jenn

Once upon a time there was a girl who got the most random demonstration of nail care from her mother right before a family dinner on Labour Day weekend. That girl was me. And I will NEVER pay for another manicure again. Not when I've got me a SEACRET.

So where did this stuff come from?  My mother told me all about her trip to the mall with my dad, and how they were stopped by one of those mall kiosk clerks who gave a demo on each of them. My dad then piped up to inform me that the kiosk lady was very nice-looking and that was the only reason he allowed her to give him the 'manliest of manicures'.

Seche Vite Top Coat: Is Fast, Like Furious Car!

Glam

There comes a point in every lady's life where she needs to settle down and stick to one product. Whether it be for hair, nails, face, finding your glam holy grail can be tedious and frustrating. Well, you're welcome, ladies (and so inclined gentlemen?), because I've got the one and only nail polish top coat you're ever gonna need. Good ol' Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

I feel like this is one of the most popular top coats and writing this review is a bit redundant because everyone on the Internet and their mothers are all about this. Except I feel like the rave reviews for this are completely deserved and on the off chance you don't know about this gem, you will thank me and maybe even build me a glam shrine in your appreciation.

I Find You No Longer A-peeling: Sally Hansen's "Hard as Nails" Hardener

Figgy

Y'all might remember my angry reaction to trying out one of Rimmel's nail polishes a little while ago. What I couldn't write into my review but added in the comments was the complete disaster that stuff worked on my nails. After applying the polish twice my nails became incredibly brittle and started peeling, which is probably worse than just having them break right off. I'm placing the blame entirely on that polish, as I've worn hundreds of others before without my nails pitching such a fit about it.

Anyway, I needed to find a cure and quick, because the nails were peeling down to the quick and it was starting to hurt like hell. I dug out my Sally Hansen Hard as Nails hardener and applied a couple of coats, then waited for this go-to cure to work its magic.
