One of the great things about being part of Sephora’s Beauty Insider program is that you get free little birthday gifts every year. I realize it’s a ploy to get me to buy stuff by forcing me to come to the store to pick up my gift or forcing me to order online to get them to ship it (since you can just ship the free gift alone) but I’m pretty much pro-free things in all aspects of my life and occasionally have the willpower to leave my local Sephora with nothing but my present. Well, damn, Body Shop. You went from being a store I didn't know existed to one of my new favorites in the space of a couple of purchases. Your delicious Bath Gels sealed the deal for me, and now I don't think I can go back to anything else.

I've always had problems with soaps and bath gels. My skin is finicky as hell, and anything stronger than baby wash will make it dry, flaky and itchy. I've always needed to slather lotion on my whole body after a shower. So after trying a million different products that promised 'soft' and 'gentle' but still felt like washing my body with lye, I needed something new.
