As I said in my review of 100% Pure Red Wine Resveratol Scrub and Mask, I've been looking for a better way to exfoliate and get away from apricot scrubs. When looking for an alternative that was also natural, I stumbled upon the 100% Pure site. While looking for a scrub, I perused the other items they had.
Caffeine Eye Cream? Do my eyes really need this? Honestly, I had no idea. I don't have any real issues with the skin around my eyes and I haven't been using any special eye cream most of my life. I just use my regular facial lotion and I'm done. But when I recently went looking for a natural face scrub and found 100% Pure, everyone raved about this Caffeine Eye Cream and I was sucked into the madness.
I ordered the smallest container available, since I figured it would have to be pretty amazing for me to feel the need to use a separate eye cream. And you know what? Is is amazing...in smell. I want to eat it and drink it and spray it all over myself, but it doesn't spray and that would be way too expensive. I guess the theory here--or the mental image we're supposed to receive--is that the caffeine will "wake up" our eyes, or the skin around them or whatever, but all it seems to do is wake up my nose and my longing for another cuppa joe.
After a couple of weeks, I can't say that this product does anything else. So if you feel like just spending money so that the skin around your eyes smells great this is your miracle product, but if you really want to wake up your eyes, maybe just have that second cup.
I give 100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Eye Cream four tentacles for its wonderful smell!
Rating: 4/8 tentacles
I heard this was really good for depuffing eyes since caffeine is the active ingredient for a lot of eye products that target puffy eyes.
