This winter has been dreary and rainy so I was looking to put a little spring back into my pedicure. Normally I stick to reds, plums and french manicures, but mama needed a little cheering up! When I spied Milani's Nail Lacquer formulas in Neon and Jewel FX I thought, why not?
I chose Fresh Teal in the Neon range of colors. When Milani says Neon, they aren't playing. These colors are highlighter bright.

The Jewel FX in Teal is a thick clear base with chunky and mini glitter in blue, green and silver. I don't think I'd use it alone no matter how many coats I layered, but it looks amazing on top of the opaque.
When I was finished with my pedicure my nails were bright and sparkly and reminded me of a cascarone. For those of you not from San Antonio, cascarones are confetti-filled eggs that you crack on people's heads during Fiesta and Easter. Looking at my toes makes me feel like a party!

At under $5.00 a pop, I'm definitely stocking up on these colors.

How long did it last before it chipped?
ReplyDeleteThat's hard to say since I only did my toes. The glitter does not move, so the bigger challenge is getting it off!
