Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Vital Vitamin Day Cream: Phew!

Pinky McLadybits

I needed a new face cream because I had run out of my samples from Birchbox and fall and winter are fast approaching. I can make due in the summer without much face cream, especially with the oil-cleansing method I use to wash my face. In the colder months, my skin tends to feel tight, full of flakes, and generally gross.

I have also noticed that my skin is more sensitive than it used to be. A purported gentle cleanser made my face a splotchy mess and even a BB Cream made a mess. The sensitive label and the coupon for $4 off the low $9.99 price tag are what made me pick up Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Vital Vitamin Day Cream SPF 15. (And now I'm out of breath. Damn long name.)

I've been using the moisturizer for a week now, and I am happy to announce that it has kept my skin hydrated and smooth. Of course, the real test will come with the predicted evil and super cold winter this year, but so far has been good. The 1.7 ounce container of Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Vital Vitamin Day Cream SPF 15 seems enormous compared to other creams in stores. Instead of having a large container that is contoured to trick you into thinking the inside is bigger, the whole thing is filled to the top. It also only takes a very small amount to cover my face and neck.

When I started using the Simple cream, my nose was really dry and had a horrible texture. After a week of using the Simple Sensitive, my nose is no longer dry and is much softer to the touch. That is pretty great, in my opinion. Also great is the lightweight feel of the cream, the way it is quickly absorbed, and how it doesn't feel greasy or too thick. If you are looking for an inexpensive moisturizer that will last quite a while and also do what it promises, Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Vital Vitamin Day Cream is the way to go.
