It's Friday, I'm In MEH.

Pinky McLadybits

Can you believe that The Sopranos debuted in 1999? It makes me feel terribly old, along with the soon-to-be eight years old child I have and my upcoming 12 year dating anniversary with the husband. Anyway, enjoy this retrospective of the show through the words of the people that lived it. (Vanity Fair)

This is an amazingly thoughtful, loving, and funny look at gay marriage (aka marriage) by someone that labels herself Christian. Bonus brother, hee! (Persephone Magazine)

Do you need more proof that Fiona Apple is cooler than most of us will ever be? Check out her handwritten note to a high school student about a gay-straight alliance. (Vulture)

I like Twilight. I have the movies. I have all the RiffTrax to go with the movies. I went to the midnight showing of Eclipse ( I think it was that one..). But I'm not obsessed. Not like this crazy bird. (d-listed)

How many myths could a Mythbuster bust if a Mythbuster could bust myths? (Gizmodo)

Sometimes I take a nap. It doesn't happen often because I usually wake up feeling worse than I did before passing out. Perhaps I timed the nap wrong? (Lifehacker)

There are several things about this story that made me giggle. The man is 69. He was hiking in Bean Soup Flats. But then he says that a mountain lion attacked him and then he was rescued by a bear. DUDE. (Paradise Post)

I don't like nature. But if I did and I rode a bike? I would definitely need this wine belt for my ride. (Tree Hugger)

I could buy and sell nature if we won the Mega Millions Jackpot. Though it seems unlikely that we will. Goodbye, dream of owning a Deadpool car. (Gizmodo)

Sometimes I wonder what would happen if some twenty-somethings had access to instant messengers. And drawings were made and the hilarity was shared with me somehow. BUT THEN IT HAPPENED and I was so happy. (Occasional Heh)

Most everyone knows that Dick Cheney had his rotten, black heart replaced with one that hopefully came from someone who is alright with that particular body part fueling pure evil. Then there was the man who just got a face transplant. So here are 5 celebrity transplants you might not know about. (Mental Floss)

The husband and I just watched Apollo 18. Now please allow that to segue into NASA's top picks for planets with extra-terrestrial life! (GeekSugar)

Today I was trying to think of something awesome to put on the front door. Not just a seasonal wreath or anything. I'm guessing this would keep solicitors away, which is a huge bonus. (Nerd Approved)

Well this is adorable. A baby squirrel is adopted by a mama cat. And? The squirrel learns to purr! AW!

Sorry, but this video is the Horror Movie Alphabet. I hope you really like learnin'!
