Arbonne Sheer Glow Highlighter: I'm Glowing Here!

Pinky McLadybits

One of the things I learned while getting my brows done at Benefit was highlighting the brow bone. Benefit has an amazing pencil just for that purpose, but I was already dropping serious cash on They're Real and Brow Zings. Plus I knew I already had this Arbonne Sheer Glow Highlighter at home.

This is part of the loot I won while at an Arbonne even with my pal Stephanie. I had been struggling with the best way to use the Highlighter. Under my eyes? Meh. On my cheeks? Not too bad. Definitely not on lips or eyelids or other places.

Highlighter for my brow bone though? That should work.

The Highlighter comes in a tube and you squeeze out just the tiniest amount onto your finger. You pat it onto your brow bone and instant brightening and highlighting! You have to be careful not to apply too much or you will have some seriously shiny and greasy eyes and makeup melting down your face. That is very not good. Only make that mistake once. Is what I told myself after I got a bit heavy-handed the other day. Ahem.

The highlighter is great if you are going with a minimal makeup look but you still want to highlight your brows. If you are wearing full eye makeup then a white shadow will highlight just as well.

Arbonne products are vegan, free of mineral oil, free of artificial colors and preservatives, use no parabens, no formaldehyde, no animal products or by-products, or any of the other disgusting things used in some other cosmetics. (Lead in lipstick, anyone?) This means that Arbonne is not cheap. The Highlighter costs $46. That can be a lot for some people, including me. I did, however, find that Amazon has it for $15.

Overall, a pretty great tool for highlighting areas and adding a touch of shimmer and glow to your face.

  1. I love this highlighter also. Actually, I am in love with all of Arbonne's products, and that is why I became an independent consultant.

I didn't want to try and come here as a "spammer", but I love sharing what Arbonne has done for me, and other people that I know. Our botanically-based, vegan-certified products do not have any harsh chemicals, and actually work! It decreased the redness in my face, and broken capillaries on my cheeks over 50% in just 2 months.

Arbonne's products are free of: parabens, mineral oils, talc, formaldehyde, sulfates, petrolatum, animal by-products or fillers, etc. They are NOT tested on animals. Yay! They are dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. They are all botanically-based, vegan-certified and GMO-free. Everything that I require in my beauty products nowadays. Between the food we eat, and the toxins in the air, we need to also be cautious in what we put on our bodies too.

Anyway, if anyone is intereted in trying a sample of the highlighter, or the awesome anti-aging RE9 skin care line, I would be happy to send it to you. Contact me at one of the addresses below.
