eos Lip Balm: MUAH!

Pinky McLadybits

Kolby likes Target and is always finding treasures I didn't know existed. One day she was extolling the virtues of eos Lip Balm on Facebook and in a Google+ Hangout. I was intrigued by her love of the product and the cute packaging. I had to try it.

Off I went to Target, where I searched for the lip balms. They aren't in the makeup section of my Target, which I suppose makes sense. They were in the same aisle as cough drops and cold medicines. That makes no sense. Some of us need lip balm year round. Some people (Lainey) need about fourteen different lip balms in different places and different situations so put it with makeup! Anyway, I chose the Summer Fruit fragrance because I hate putting mint on my lips and selection was low.

I adore this lip balm. The round shape makes the lip balm easy to find in my purse. It's the only huge, round, pink thing in my purse, so that's easy to find. It also unscrews, making it more difficult for little kids to open it and smear the contents on their faces, walls, and draw pictures with it on their curtains. (Yeah, my kid did that.) You have more acreage to hold onto, making you much less likely to drop while applying the sweet, sweet smoothness within.

The scent is light and lovely, not overpowering. The balm is, according to the website, "95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth." I can't stop rubbing my lips against each other after applying my eos Lip Balm. They're so smooth! And shiny! They smell good, they aren't sticky, and they are kissably soft.

Another bonus is the price, which is under $4, and the amount of balm you get. I purchased this particular sphere months ago. At least three months ago, I would guess. I use it daily, but there is still tons left. It's a great deal on a great product and I highly recommend it.

  1. Can I put it in my pants and walk around town saying, "Hey there, sweet thang. I've got something round and moisture-inducing right down here for ya." I think it sells the proposal best by pointing directly at the crotch area when making your delivery.

  3. i've determined that you use less of this because you can effectively get both lips with one swipe!

And much like Lainey, I need multiple lip balms--one for every room in my house, one for each of my school bags, one for each winter coat pocket, and extras for just in case. Eos is bumping out Burt's Bees for the winning spot in my Lip Balm Heart.

  4. I love this stuff! I'm not at all a fan of Burt Bee's and don't even get me started Chapstick. Eos is tasty, slick but not sticky and is cute to boot. Winner!
