Avon Therapeutic Cracked Heel Relief Cream

If I had my way, I'd be barefoot all the time. I've always preferred running around in the bare minimum footwear I can get away with - at work, sandals; at play, flip flops.

Of course, all the exposure to the air coupled with all the standing I do at work means my heels tend to dry and crack. Lucky for me, I've found a product that keeps my feet looking gorgeous.

Avon's Foot Works Therapeutic Cracked Heel Relief Cream is a mouthful to say, but it works simply and beautifully. Here's the gist: the cream contains both an analgesic, to slightly numb the skin on your heel, and an antiseptic, to kill any nasty bacteria, while it moisturizes. That's it. No fussy extraneous ingredients beyond the usual, no cloying scents, and no greasy residue left on your hands.

Every night, I lightly rub my heels with a pumice stone, then apply a dollop of the thick white cream (a little dab goes a long way, which is nice because that increases the lifespan of the tube and helps you save a little bit of money in the long run!) and rub it in until it's all absorbed. I use the cream year round - it's great for sandal weather in the summer, and in the winter, it keeps my feet from drying out in the harsh winter air. And at five bucks a pop, on Avon's website (or from your local Avon representative), it's a great deal. If you don't have an Avon rep, you can also find it on Amazon.com.

I give the Therapeutic Cracked Heel Relief Cream 8 out of 8 tentacles - I recommend it to anyone looking to keep their feet in great shape year round!

  Rating: 8/8 tentacles

  1. I *need* to try this. I've been using Dr Scholl's heel cream, and while it works for a while it doesn't hold up in the long term very well.

  2. This stuff was AMAZING. I ordered almost immediately after I read this and now I'll never use another one. I'm not even exaggerating--after only two uses my feet are smooth, after being dry and cracked for ages. Love love love.
